FJATA Achievements

FJATA is proud of its leadership role in ensuring that the fashion jewelry and accessories industry is on the cutting edge of developing new standards and devising best practices. FJATA is working in several state legislatures to advocate against legislation on heavy metals in jewelry that would harm the fashion jewelry industry, deny consumers access to safe products and do nothing to improve jewelry safety.

Our industry has been targeted by consumer groups, federal and state legislators, and regulators but FJATA is working hard to get out the real facts about our industry and the products we are proud to provide American consumers.
